5年以上前に調べた記事が見つかりましたので、載せておきます。
いまだと、AOX1遺伝子を調べて、産物のコドン頻度を利用すると良いでしょう。
下記のコドン頻度はゲノム全体のものなので、メタノールで大量に誘導されるAOX1産物のコドン頻度が好ましいと思います。ただし私も調べたことがないので、もし調べたらフォーラムに投稿してください。

preference:

D:Aspartic acid: GAC or GAT

S:Serine: TCT or TCC
